Why this name?
From it's inception C-Hustle was sold on titling his company "Hit-A-Lik" As he and some of his affiliates were known for"hitting 'liks" the name stuck and the rest is history.
Do you play live?
Hit-A-Lik Entertainment showcases it's artists and producers, annualy at our flagship events, "The Eastside Jumpoff" Now in it's 4th year of existence E.J. has doubled in size each year and shows no signs of stopping any time soon. We charish the oppurtunity to shut down the mitten for one night each summer and provide our fans and staff with a place to see and be seen. Special moments from last years jumpoff undoubtedly include M Dot's insane record release performance, so wild it prompted the normally reserved C-Hustle to remove his shirt.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet has allowed artists to reach many more people than they ever could have before. It gives fans the oppurtunity to get as much content as they can handle about their favorite musical artists. The 'Lik is determined to utilize the internet and flood it with our music free of charge. For that reason we have no quams about giving our music away because we have the greatest fans in the world and they deserve it.
